SAN DIEGO - Tickets are still available for the Aztec women's basketball team's MWC season opener this Wednesday evening against Air Force at 6 p.m. at Cox Arena. The Aztecs, who are receiving votes in the AP poll, are coming off of their historic victory over fourth-ranked and previously unbeaten Texas, 60-55, to claim their first-ever San Diego Surf `N Slam title.
Fans should take advantage of a few opportunities as the women play host to Girl Scouts Night. In addition to the tickets that have already been donated to the Girl Scouts, kids ages 3-14 can receive a free general admission ticket to the women's contest with the purchase of a $7 general admission adult ticket. Fans should also take advantage of the MWC Weeknight Meal Deal, where a soda, hot dog and chips at the game cost just $6.
Wednesday's women's contest is being televised live on CBS College Sports (Time Warner 415, DirecTV 613, Dish Network 152).
