SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State women's basketball team will play host to some extra special guests for this Thursday's 7 p.m. game at Cox Arena against UC Riverside. The U.S. Marine Corps band will be on hand, while Brigadier General Angie Salinas, commanding general of the Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego and the Western Recruiting Region, will address the crowd prior to the Aztecs' match-up with the Highlanders.
All Marines and other military personnel in attendance will also be recognized during a timeout in the first half.
Tickets to Thursday's game have already been distributed to local Marines and their families and anyone presenting a military ID the night of the game at the Cox Arena box office can receive up to four free general admission tickets.
