SAN DIEGO (AP) - Kyle Spain scored 15 points and Mehdi Cheriet added a career-high 14 to lift San Diego State to a 93-61 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Monday night.

Ryan Amoroso scored 13 points and D.J. Gay and Lorrenzo Wade had 12 each for San Diego State (10-3), which matched its best record after 13 games since the 1984-85 season. Wade also had a game-high seven rebounds, three blocks and two steals.

The Aztecs used a 24-4 run in the final 6:46 of the first half to turn a close game into a 46-30 halftime lead. Amoroso scored seven points and Gay hit two 3-pointers in the decisive run. San Diego State led by as many as 37 points in the second half.

Rick Parks scored 12 points to lead Arkansas-Pine Bluff (1-10), which ended its streak of 11 consecutive road games to start the season. The Golden Lions' losses have been by an average margin of 31 points.
