TEAM NOTES
* San Diego State had eight of its 10 players who logged minutes score at least two points and six had at least five.
* The Aztecs had a season-low four turnovers, their fewest since committing eight against UC San Diego in the season opener. The last time SDSU had fewer turnovers was before the 2007-08 campaign. Last season's season low was six vs. UC San Diego back on Nov. 17, 2007.
* Coupled with the midweek loss at Arizona, San Diego State has lost consecutive games for the first time this season. Back-to-back losses are rare for the Aztecs, as SDSU is now 28-9 in the game following its last 37 losses (since March 5, 2005).
* The Aztecs are now 12-5 in their last 17 neutral site contests.
* San Diego State posted a 5-2 record in a seven-game stretch in which it played just one home game and faced three straight games against teams that advanced to the 2008 NCAA Tournament.

Tim Shelton posted his fourth straight double-digit scoring game with his game-high 17 points, extending his career-best streak, and had a personal-best 10 rebounds to log his first career double-double... Shelton led the team in scoring for the second straight game and second time in his career... The Fresno native has also led the team in rebounding in three straight games and in four games this season... The double-double is the second of the season for San Diego State. Kyle Spain had the other vs. Fresno State... The freshman recorded a new career high with his seven field goals... He had made a career-tying six in the three previous games... Shelton made his first three-pointer of the game, extending his consecutive-makes streak to four... The streak was broken in the second half right before the 8-minute media timeout.

* Kyle Spain- 13 points, 7 rebounds
Kyle Spain reached double figures in scoring for the ninth time this season and 43rd time in his Aztec career as he finished with 13 points... He has made at least one three-pointer in every game this season and is well on his way to established a new career high in the category. Spain has 20 on the year and his career high is 32 established last season... The senior grabbed seven rebounds, marking the second straight game he has collected that amount.

* Lorrenzo Wade - 8 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists
Lorrenzo Wade connected on his first two three-point attempts to establish a season high. His 2-for-4 performance from beyond the three-point arc came after a 1-for-6 performance at Arizona on Wednesday... Wade finished with eight points, two rebounds and a team- and season-high tying three assists.

* Richie Williams - 9 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds, 2 steals Richie Williams had a team-high tying three assists. The senior has led the team in the category in six straight games and seven overall this year... Williams also scored nine points, his second-highest total in 2008-09.
