* Tim Shelton led the team in scoring with his 13 points. It marked the first time he has done it in his career. ... The freshman collected a team- and season-high eight rebounds, marking the third time this season and second game in a row he has led the Aztecs in the category. ... Shelton was 6-for-9 from the field to match his career-best field-goal total, something he has done in three straight contests. He also made six shots vs. San Diego and at Northern Colorado.

* Lorrenzo Wade played for the first time this season and logged 22 minutes off the bench. ... Wade scored 11 points and has now reached double figures in scoring for the fourth straight game in which he has seen action dating back to last year. ... The senior also had two rebounds and two assists.

* Billy White was the third Aztec to reach double figures in scoring with his 10 points. ... His performance was his fourth double-figure scoring game of the season and first since tallying 12 vs. Hampton at the Great Alaska Shootout. ... White grabbed six rebounds, his third game of the year with at least that many. ... The sophomore was 4-for-7 from the field, marking the sixth time in 2008-09 that he has shot at least 50 percent from the field.

* Richie Williams had a game-high tying five assists. His total was his second-most in a game this year behind his eight-assist performance vs. Seattle. ... Williams recorded five rebounds, one off his season high accomplished vs. Western Carolina and Arizona State.

* Kyle Spain scored seven points to snap his eight-game double-figure scoring streak. ... Spain, however, grabbed seven rebounds, the second-most on the team. He has had at least six rebounds in a game five times this year.

* D.J. Gay had seven points for the second straight game. His three-pointer, which tied the game 54 with 5:17 left in the game, extended his streak to five games in which he has made at least one three-point field goal. Only once this season has he failed to knock down a three (vs. Western Carolina).
