Kyle Spain
Scored San Diego State's first eight points of the game... Reached double figures tonight and has done so in all eight games this season... The eight-game double-digit scoring streak is a career high for the senior... The senior has led the team in scoring in six of the Aztecs' eight games this year. ... SDSU is 33-8 when Spain scores at least 10 points in a game. ... Spain has made at least one three-point field goal in every game in 2008-09.

D.J. Gay
After a team-leading 45 three-pointers last season as a freshman, D.J. Gay has continued that trend by connecting on 13 so far this season thanks to his 1-for-4 effort in the game. He currently ranks second on the team behind Kyle Spain's 18. ... Gay also had two steals, matching his season high accomplished vs. Hampton at the Great Alaska Shootout.

Tim Shelton
Tim Shelton recorded his second straight double-figure scoring game with 12 points ... He also tied his season-high with a team-high seven rebounds ... Shelton connected on six of his nine field-goal attempts and is now 12-for-15 (80.0 percent) over his last two contests.

Matt Thomas
Matt Thomas had three steals in just 22 minutes of action to post a season high.
