SDSU Fall Classic II Brackets Through 2 Days in PDF Format

The San Diego State women's tennis doubles team of Roxanne and Sierra Ellison advanced to the finals of the Doubles A draw on Saturday at the SDSU Fall Classic II. The duo also posted victories in singles over their University of San Diego counterparts later in the day.

In doubles action, the Ellison tandem dispatched Washington's Lina Xu and Joyce Ardies in the semifinals by a score of 8-6. On the other half of the bracket, Holly Bagshaw and Olivia Colman failed in their bid to meet Ellison/Ellison in the finals after they lost to Venise Chan and Denise Dy of Washington, 8-1.

In singles, Sierra Ellison emerged victorious after a hard-fought 7-5, 6-2 decision over San Diego's Justin Perl. Roxanne, meanwhile, posted a 6-1, ret., win over USD's Milou Teeling.

In the Singles A bracket, Bagshaw recorded a straight-set 6-2, 6-4 win over Brooke Bartleet of UC Irvine in the championship consolation draw.

The Aztecs will conclude competition on Sunday beginning with doubles at 9 a.m. PT.
