The sixth-seeded San Diego State women's soccer team fell to third-seeded TCU, 2-1, in overtime, Wednesday in the first game of the Mountain West Conference tournament in Las Vegas, Nev. The Aztecs ended their season with a 6-10-3 record, while the Horned Frogs (14-3-2) will meet second-seeded Utah at noon Thursday.

SDSU sophomore Cat Walker (Folsom, Calif.) tied the game at 1-1 in the 51st minute on a great individual effort. On the play, Walker, who was named to the all-MWC first team on Tuesday, dribbled untouched through the left side of the box and then blasted a shot off the top right post and into the net for the equalizer. The goal was Walker's 10th of the season, tying her for seventh on the school's single-season scoring list.

However, TCU took advantage of the lone scoring opportunity for either team in the first overtime. After a corner kick, Katie Taylor ripped a shot that was saved by San Diego State senior goalkeeper Christi Yount (Mission Viejo, Calif.). On the rebound, the Horned Frogs' Cheryl Martin shot the ball toward the net before an Aztec defender knocked it away. Jackie Torda pounced on the rebound and tucked it in for the game-winner at the 97:14 mark.

Jordan Calhoun opened the scoring for TCU in the 31st minute off pass from Lizzy Caroly.

Walker had a game-high five shots to lead the Aztec offense. Freshman Tiffany Hurst (Santa Rosa, Calif.) added two attempts, including one that reamed off the post in the 22nd minute.

Yount played all 97:14 and made five stops. For her career, Yount finished with a 1.23 goals against average in 1,607+ minutes, good enough for the fifth lowest in program history.
