LAS VEGAS, Nev, - Sophomore Cat Walker (Folsom, Calif.) and junior Jessica Gordon (Tujunga, Calif.) were each named all-Mountain West Conference, announced at the annual league banquet Tuesday night in Las Vegas, Nev. Walker was selected to the first team, while Gordon garnered second-team accolades.

Walker, who missed all of last season after tearing her ACL in her knee, leads the Aztecs (6-9-3) with 21 points on nine goals and three assists. Among the league leaders, Walker is fourth in goals per game (0.53) and fifth in points per game (1.24). A tri-captain, Walker put up even better numbers in league play, leading the MWC with 2.00 points per game and 0.83 goals per game. Walker also paces the Aztecs in shots (40) and shots on goal (22).

Like Walker, Gordon battled back from an injury that sidelined her for all but five games in 2007. This season, Gordon is tied for second on the squad with 12 points on five goals and two assists. Her two game-winning goals are tied with Walker for the most on the team. Gordon is one of just four Aztecs to start all 18 games this season.

SDSU, which earned the No. 6 seed, will play third-seeded TCU (13-3-2) Wednesday in a quarterfinal game of the MWC tournament. Kickoff is set for noon at Peter Johann Memorial Field on the campus of UNLV in Las Vegas, Nev. The winner of the quarterfinal match will move on to face second-seeded Utah at noon Thursday.
