Team Notes

-Won its final conference contest for the seventh time in the last eight years ... Won its final home contest in a season for the fifth time in the last six years.

-Defeated UNLV for the third straight year and the fourth consecutive time in San Diego ... Improved to 10-7 all-time against the Rebels.

-Snapped a 13-game streak when it trailed in possession time ... Last time SDSU won the possession time battle was Nov. 17, 2007 at Air Force.

-SDSU allowed fewer than 100 yards rushing for the first time since Nov. 3, 2007, when the Aztecs gave up 91 yards against Wyoming. The 33 yards by the Rebels are the fewest by an Aztec opponent since Portland State had just 13 yards in SDSU's victory on Sept. 22, 2007 ... UNLV has failed to rush for more than 100 yards in four of the last six meetings between the two schools, including three straight at Qualcomm Stadium (81 yards in 2004; 39 yards in 2006).

-SDSU's 42 points are its most ever in a MWC game and most in a conference outing since scoring 48 against San Jose State when the Aztecs were members of the WAC.

-With the first quarter touchdown, San Diego State extended its streak of scoring at least one touchdown to 26 consecutive games.

-SDSU did not have a turnover in a game for the first time this season and the first time overall since the TCU game in 2007.

Individual Notes

-Russell Allen - Started his 36th consecutive and final game as an Aztec ... Ended his career with at least two tackles in 48 straight games and three or more in 46 of 48 career games ... Final career numbers include 375 career tackles (214 solo, 161 assists), 22.0 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, 13 PBU, 3 forced fumbles and 4 recovered fumbles.

-Corey Boudreaux - Returned his fifth career interception 83 yards for his first career touchdown in the fourth quarter ... It was SDSU's second interception return for a score this season (also Aaron Moore at SJSU).

-Vincent Brown - Notched the second 100-yard receiving game of his career in the first half alone ... It was also his second 100-yard receiving game of the year after catching eight passes for 183 yards and three scores against Idaho ... Brown becomes the 47th Aztec in school history to have at least two 100-yard receiving games in his career.

-Tyler Campbell - Scored third and fourth career touchdowns ... It was his first TDs since scoring two in 2006 ... First multi-TD game in his career.

-Brandon Davis - Logged his first career rushes.

-Siaosi Fifita - Recovered his first career fumble in the third quarter.

-Atiyyah Henderson - Hauled in a 12-yard pass in the fourth quarter for his first career receiving touchdown.

-Luke Laolagi - Forced his third fumble of the year in the third quarter ... Posted his ninth career game with 10 or more tackles and his fifth of the season ... Recorded his first career interception in the fourth quarter.

-Ryan Lindley - His 35 completions tie for third in the SDSU single-game record book ... Became the 14th Aztec in school history with three or more 300-yard passing games ... Set a new freshman record for pass completions in a single-outing with 35, surpassing the previous high of 29, that he posted against Notre Dame earlier this year.

-Darren Mougey - Scored his first rushing touchdown since 2006, when he had a pair as a quarterback against UTEP ... Has three rushing TDs and five receiving TDs for his career.

-DeMarco Sampson - Scored his first touchdown of the year in the first quarter on a 6-yard reception from Ryan Lindley ... Second career TD, but first since the 2005 season.

-Mike Schmidt - Returned after a knee inury that kept him out of the last two games ... Started his 23rd career game.

-Alston Umuolo - Entered the game with just 12 career catches ... Finished with a career-best eight grabs for 74 yards.
