SAN DIEGO (AP) -Billy Farris threw three touchdown passes and Eric Morton rushed for a pair of scores to lead Colorado State to a 38-34 win over San Diego State on Saturday night.

All of Farris' TD passes went to Kory Sperry, including the go-ahead score on a 9-yarder four seconds into the fourth quarter. The play was originally ruled an incomplete pass, but after Colorado State challenged the call, it was overruled on replay.

Sperry also scored on catches of 20 and 6 yards. Morton, a wide receiver, scored twice on reverses covering 12 and 24 yards. The last score gave Colorado State (4-4, 2-2 Mountain West) its first lead at 31-24 with two minutes left in the third quarter.

Farris finished 25 of 34 passing for 296 yards as he directed the offense to 507 yards.

San Diego State (1-7, 0-4 MWC) was productive on offense, gaining 392 total yards and rushed for 226 yards.

Atiyyah Henderson ran for a career-high 177 yards on 25 carries and had touchdown runs of 1 and 72 yards. The latter run, which tied the score at 31 with one minute left in the third quarter, was San Diego State's longest scoring run since October 1999.

Davion Mauldin scored on a 93-yard kickoff return for San Diego State, which insured its 10th straight non-winning season with the loss.
