The San Diego State men's soccer team fell on the road to Oregon State, 1-0, in overtime Friday night. It was the Aztecs' (3-8-2, 1-3-2 Pac-10) third loss in overtime this season.

The Beavers' (5-7-3, 2-3-1 Pac-10) game-winner came 5 minutes, 21 seconds into the first overtime off the head of Chris Miller. Josh Cameron sent in the cross from the right side to Miller who headed it into the back of the net.

Despite leading the Pac-10 in shots (201) and shots per game (16.75), SDSU was outshot by Oregon State, ranked fourth in the Pac-10, 18-7.

However, San Diego State apparently found the mark better than the Beavers as 71.4 percent (5-of-7) of its shots were on net, while 66.3 percent (12-of-18) of Oregon State's attempts were on goal.

With the previous stats, Aztec senior Jorge Rosales (Redwood City, Calif.) recorded a career-high 11 saves. In fact, the 11 stops are tied for the ninth-most in a game this season of all Division I schools. The Aztecs' previous high this season was eight.

Redshirt junior Matt McManus (Santa Clarita, Calif.) led SDSU with two shots, both on net, while five others added an attempt.

SDSU will be back in action Sunday at Washington (1 p.m.).

MAN OF THE MATCH: Redshirt freshman Justin Davies earned Man of the Match honors. The San Diego native played 67 minutes off the bench and played an important role in the midfield.
