PROVO, Utah - The San Diego State women's soccer game at Brigham Young on Saturday, Oct. 11, has been moved up to 1 p.m. (MT) due to projected inclement weather. The Aztecs-Cougars match was originally slated for an 8 p.m. (MT) start.
This will mark the 20th meeting between the two teams with the all-time series tied at 8-8-3. Last year, the Aztecs emerged victorious during the regular season, claiming a 2-0 victory in San Diego. The Scarlet and Black then fell to BYU in the Mountain West Conference tournament semifinals as the Cougars went on to capture the title.
San Diego State (4-7-2 overall; 0-2-0 MWC) is looking for its first conference victory after coming off a tough loss at Utah on Thursday evening. BYU (9-5-0 overall; 2-0-0 MWC), meanwhile, is riding a three-game winning streak and has not allowed a goal since a 2-1 loss at California on Sept. 25.
will still be available for the game.
