SAN DIEGO - The KGB SkyShow XXXIII, presented by Barona, will take place this Saturday, Oct. 11, immediately following the San Diego State-Air Force game at Qualcomm Stadium. Kick-off for the Aztecs' home conference opener is set for 6:30 p.m. PT.

The game will be dedicated to the fans and those who serve our country as part of the GEICO Fleet Week Football Classic. The GEICO-sponsored event is the nation's largest tribute to the military enlisted men and women dedicated to defend to American way of life.

Fans can enjoy the Aztec Village before the game in parking lot F-1. The Village is free to the public, and is open from 4:30-6:30 p.m. PT. The Village will feature live music by The Full Monty, the SDSU baseball team signing autographs and providing interactive games for children, as well as various activities and events.

Joining the Aztec Village will be the SkyShow Village in E-2 of the Qualcomm Stadium parking lot where fans can enjoy food, drinks and carnival rides from noon-6:30 p.m. And from 4:30-6:30 p.m., 101 KGB's Dave, Shelley and Chainshaw will be broadcasting live from the Q.

On the field will be a pre-game performance by the Marching Aztecs, who will be joined by San Diego's own Third Marine Aircraft Wing Band to perform the National Anthem, which will be followed by a special flyover.

During halftime, the Marching Aztecs and the Third Marine Aircraft Wing Band will join together with the Air Force Academy Drum & Bugle Corps team for a special show that will include a tribute to local military heroes. After the game, guests need only to stay in their seats to watch jets fly over the stadium and be treated to a spectacular fireworks show. This is the fifth consecutive year that the Aztecs have hosted the SkyShow.
