SAN DIEGO - This Saturday's Idaho-San Diego State football game will feature a host of activities for Aztec fans. The 5 p.m. PT contest vs. the Vandals at Qualcomm Stadium will include festivities at the Aztec Village, a halftime performance by 23 local high school bands, and youth football teams and Scout troops watching the game from a unique perspective.

This week at the Aztec Village, which is free to the public before every game, fans will have the chance to meet the men's and women's basketball teams between 3-4:30 p.m. The Aztec Village, located in the parking lot F-1, will also be turned into the Green Expo. Everyone who enters the stadium parking lot will receive a Passport to Green Living. The passport, when taken to the Green Expo, offers the chance to win prizes or even free Chevron gas cards.

At halftime, more than 1,600 high school band students will perform with the Marching Aztecs. These students represent 23 high schools in San Diego County. High school band parents can still purchase discounted tickets in a special parent section by calling the Aztec ticket office at 619-283-7378.

Saturday night will also feature youth football teams and Scout troops watching pre-game action from the sidelines. All participating teams and troops should meet inside the stadium at Gate F between 3:30- 4 p.m. to meet their Aztec representatives who will take them on the field. Football teams and Scout troops still looking to purchase tickets can contact the group sales office at 619-594-8392.
