SAN DIEGO - San Diego State men's golf coach Ryan Donovan announced the Aztecs' 2008 schedule Thursday afternoon. SDSU will compete in four tournaments this fall and eight tournaments in the spring, including the Mountain West Conference Championships Tucson, Ariz.

SDSU will open the campaign in Hilton Head Island, S.C., at the Rees Jones Collegiate Invitational on Sept. 7-8.

On the road again, the Aztecs head north to compete in the Washington Husky Invitational in Seattle, Wash., on Sept. 29-30. On Oct. 20-21, San Diego State will stay home to play in the Sycuan Collegiate in El Cajon, Calif., where it placed second last year. The Aztecs will round out the fall season in Kahuku, Hawaii, at the Turtle Bay Resort Invitational.

SDSU will open the spring season on Feb. 2-3, returning to the Ping Arizona Intercollegiate in Tucson, Ariz., where it tied for second place a year ago. The Aztecs will return to the fairways at the end of the month when they play in the USC Invitational in Los Angeles, Calif., on Feb. 23-24.

After a bye week, the San Diego State has a full schedule in the month of March. On March 9-10, San Diego State will head up to the Fresno State Lexus Classic in Fresno, Calif., to defend their title for the third consecutive year. Following their trip north, the Aztecs will play locally at the Barona Collegiate Cup in Lakeside, Calif., on March 16-17. Rounding out the month, the Aztecs will compete locally again in the Callaway Collegiate Match Play in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., on March 22-24.

Two weeks later, San Diego State will head to Phoenix, Ariz., to play in the ASU Thunderbird Invitational on April 10-11, where they finished in eighth place last season. On April 18-19, the team will head to College Station, Texas, to compete in the Texas A&M Aggie Invitational.

Closing out the regular season, the Aztecs will head back to Tucson for the Mountain West Conference Championships on April 30 - May 2.
