SAN DIEGO - The 12th in a daily series during fall camp, get to know another Aztec newcomer. Today, a conversation with freshman offensive tackle Brian Milholland (San Diego/Helix HS).

GoAztecs.com: What are your overall impressions of camp so far?
Milholland:
It's been pretty difficult, but it will prepare us for what's to come in the season.

GoAztecs.com: How was your experience at Family Day?
Milholland:
Family Day was fun. I got to meet some of my teammate's families and it just brought us closer as a team.

GoAztecs.com: What did you do on your day off from practice?
Milholland:
I pretty much just slept and ate. I tried to rebuild and refuel my body.

GoAztecs.com: What do you like to do in your spare time?
Milholland:
I like to play computer games, like World of Warcraft. I'm kind of a computer nerd.

GoAztecs.com: Do you have any superstitions?
Milholland:
Not really. I just go out there and do what I do. If I do have any superstitions, I don't really notice them.

GoAztecs.com: Why did you choose San Diego State?
Milholland:
I chose San Diego State because it's my hometown. I'm from San Diego so I wanted to come here and be the hometown kid that people can relate to.

GoAztecs.com: What has offensive line coach Jonathan Himebauch been working on with you the most?
Milholland:
He's been working a lot on overall technique and footwork. That's really what all the incoming freshman need to work on; technique, footwork and assignments.

GoAztecs.com: Do you have a favorite NFL team?
Milholland:
Not really. I like the Bears but I don't really have a favorite team.

GoAztecs.com: Is there a specific reason why you like the Bears?
Milholland:
I just like the city of Chicago. I've been there before and spent a couple summers and winters over there.

GoAztecs.com: What type of music do you listen to?
Milholland:
I listen to everything, like rock, rap and country.

GoAztecs.com: What is your most memorable high school football moment?
Milholland:
It would probably be the first game of last season when we beat Oceanside, who had won the state championship. We beat the state champions and not many people can say that.

GoAztecs.com: Who is the best player you have either played with or against?
Milholland:
In high school, the best player I played against was (defensive end) Jamaar Jarrett, who is going to Arizona State. For college, it would probably be left guard Mike Schmidt. He has been a really good role model. He's always helping me with my assignments when we go out and do team drills.

GoAztecs.com: What do you plan on majoring in at SDSU?
Milholland:
I want to major in business management.

GoAztecs.com: What are your career aspirations?
Milholland:
Well, I wish I could just jump in and be the CEO of a company, but I guess I would like to start somewhere in upper management and work my way up the corporate ladder.
