SAN DIEGO - Following its first off day of 2008 fall camp, the San Diego State football team resumed workouts Monday with a pair of practices at the on-campus facility. The Aztecs changed up practices times slightly from their usual two-a-day schedule, working out in the late morning for a little over an hour, followed by an hour and a half session during the evening.
During the evening portion, SDSU began with special teams work, but for the most part had both the offense and defense going against each respective scout squad. Aztec head coach Chuck Long described the workout as "spirited" and said the team began going over is preparations for Cal Poly.
This is the final full week of fall camp, before the team begins its game-week preparations for the Aug. 30, opener against the Mustangs at Qualcomm Stadium.
