SAN DIEGO - San Diego State's baseball game on Sunday (April 27) against TCU, originally scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start at Tony Gwynn Stadium, has been moved to 11:00 a.m. in order to accommodate the visitor's travel itinerary. Due to the airline canceling a later flight to Dallas, the Horned Frogs were forced to schedule an earlier departure in order to return home Sunday evening.
With the contest being the final weekend home game for San Diego State, it has also been designated as Senior Day. SDSU will honor nine seniors whose Aztec careers are coming to close this season. The ceremonies will begin at approximately 10:45.
The list of seniors to be honored is as follows:
Brandon Glover, OF
Garett Green, 2B
Troy Hanzawa, SS
Cameron Johnson, OF
Shane Kaufman, RHP
J.R. Murphy, RHP
Brandon Pullen, LHP
Brandon Villalobos, LHP
Mike Willeford, INF
San Diego State enters the weekend with an overall record of 24-17 and sits in third place in the Mountain West Conference at 10-5, one game behind both TCU and New Mexico. The Aztecs' three-game series with the Horned Frogs gets underway on Friday, April 25, at 6:00 p.m.
