Junior Erin Floros
On the upcoming games against Brigham Young:

"I think we are pretty excited about (the games). I think we would like to get a little revenge and try to beat them at their home field."

On Brigham Young:
"They are our rival in conference; they are a team we need to beat. It was a tough two games we lost (at home). Both were extra-inning and close games. I think it would be a pretty big deal to beat them."

On where the team is at heading into its trip to Utah:
"I think everything is finally coming together. Our defense is looking really good and our offense is finally picking it up. Everything is coming together at the perfect time."

On the team's pitching so far:
"Christina Ross has been amazing so far, keeping us in the games."

On the team's offensive improvements:
"I think we just finally just settled into our at-bats. We just have to relax and know this is what we need to get done. It's nice to have everyone hitting at the same time together. We've had times where a couple of girls have had hot streaks and others can't hit them in. Now it seems like everyone is hitting and we are getting those runners in."

Senior Megan McDonald
On the upcoming games against Brigham Young:

"I am pretty excited to play them again. In both games earlier, we both had opportunities to score and win, but the games didn't fall our way. It happens like that sometimes."

On Brigham Young:
"They do have big bats so it will be another kind of a hitting duel. If we can get more runners on and have them score then it could fall our way."

On where the team is at heading into its trip to Utah:
"I'm happy where we are right now. We are building and I feel like we are right where we want to be. Our bats are coming along and we are tightening it up with the defense. I think we are progressing very nicely."

On the team's pitching so far:
"Pitching will hold you in the game every time you play. A lot of people say offense wins games, but you have to have a strong defense. If your pitchers are strong, they'll keep you in any game until your bats come through. Pitching is critical."

On the team's offensive improvements:
"I love seeing the bottom of the lineup step up. In the beginning of the season it was the top of the lineup that was carrying us. Now, especially last weekend, the bottom of the lineup is producing hits after hits after hits. It is nice for us to finally come together and score runs. Hits are coming from everywhere up and down the lineup. It is nice to see everyone producing."

On hitting three home runs in four games last weekend:
"I love playing at altitude. Anything goes up there. We practiced a lot last week to prepare for these road trips. I think that was one of the crucial things that helped me. I started feeling good. I switched bats and felt like I was seeing the ball really well. It didn't really matter what they pitched me, I felt like I was going to get a really good piece of the ball. The hits just came. I was just relaxed up there and trying to make contact."
