SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State football team begins its 2008 spring practice schedule on Tuesday afternoon at the Aztecs' on-campus practice facility. The workout will be the first of 15 over the next five weeks for SDSU, culminating in the annual Red-Black game on April 26.
San Diego State hits the field three times this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon, before taking a week off for spring break. The Aztecs will then practice three straight weeks on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from April 8-26.
The Aztecs finished 4-8 overall and 3-5 (6th) in conference play a year ago in head coach Chuck Long's second season on Montezuma Mesa.
