-The Records: The San Diego State women's basketball team heads on its final road trip of the regular season Saturday, when it takes on Colorado State at Moby Arena beginning at 2 p.m. MT. SDSU is coming of a much need victory at home against UNLV on Wednesday, which saw the Aztecs equal their conference win total from all of last season, as well as gain their 14th victory of the campaign, the team's most overall since 1996-97. The Rams, meanwhile, are winless in the Mountain West Conference this year, going 0-13 and are 2-24 overall in 2007-08. SDSU won the earlier meeting between the two schools by a 34-point margin, but haven't come out on top in Fort Collins since 2000.
-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the third year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She led the Aztecs for eight seasons from 1989 to 1997, before returning in 2005. She has an overall head coaching record of 261-200 in 15 seasons, while she is 180-135 in her 10 previous campaigns at SDSU.
-CSU Head Coach Jen Warden: Warden is in her third season at CSU. Her school record is 19-65, while her six-year head coaching mark is 48-124.
-CSU Series History: SDSU leads the overall series, 19-15, but trails 9-6 in games played in Fort Collins. The Aztecs won the earlier meeting between the two sides, but has not come out victorious at CSU since 2000. (Last: SDSU def. CSU, 86-52, in San Diego, Calif. on Jan. 30, 2008).
