-The Records: The San Diego State women's basketball team heads into the final two weeks of the regular season beginning Saturday when it travels to Brigham Young for a 2 p.m. MT contest at the Marriott Center. The Aztecs will be looking to make it two in a row against the Cougars and claim their first victory in Provo since 1995. Both squads fell in their earlier games this week, as the Aztecs came up short against Wyoming Wednesday, 55-44, while the Cougars fell to rival Utah, 82-45 on Tuesday. SDSU swept each of its next four opponents, BYU, UNLV, Colorado State and Air Force, in the first round of conference action, and will be looking to do the same heading next month's MWC championships.
-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the third year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She led the Aztecs for eight seasons from 1989 to 1997, before returning in 2005. She has an overall head coaching record of 260-199 in 15 seasons, while she is 179-134 in her 10 previous campaigns at SDSU.
-BYU Head Coach Jeff Judkins: Judkins is in his seventh season at BYU. His school and overall career record is 138-73.
-BYU Series History: Brigham Young leads the overall series, 24-10, and is 13-2 in games played in Provo. San Diego State, however, won this season's earlier meeting between the two sides in San Diego. (Last: SDSU def. BYU, 62-39, on Jan. 23, 2008, in San Diego, Calif.).
