SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State men's basketball team returns to action this week when it plays host to Air Force on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Cox Arena. The game is scheduled for an 8 p.m. PST tip-off and will feature two squads that have each won six of their last 10 ballgames and currently reside in the upper half of the Mountain West Conference standings.
Fans who buy tickets in advance can take advantage of SDSU's Mountain West Wednesday Special, which is only available for purchase in advance at Window E at Qualcomm Stadium. The special will provide fans a general admission ticket, hot dog, chips and soda for just $12.
The Mountain West Wednesday Special is available up until 5 p.m. on Tuesday at Qualcomm Stadium Window E. Regular single-game tickets can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com, by calling Ticketmaster at 619.220.TIXS, or by visiting the Cox Arena Box Office or Qualcomm Stadium Window E.
The Aztecs (15-6; 5-2 MWC) return home after a week off following a thrilling 83-82 victory at Colorado State on Jan. 29. Junior Lorrenzo Wade provided the game-winning basket on a three-point attempt with 21 seconds left in the game, while fellow classmate Ryan Amoroso posted a season-high 23 points and 11 rebounds. SDSU currently sits in third place in the MWC, a game behind UNLV and Brigham Young.
Meanwhile, the Falcons (12-8; 4-3 MWC) occupy fourth place in the league standings and now trail San Diego State by one game after their 56-46 road victory at TCU on Feb. 2.
