Team Notes
* - The Aztecs had three players record a double-double (Ryan Amoroso - 23 points, 11 rebounds; Lorrenzo Wade - 18 points, 10 rebounds; Billy White - 17 points, 10 rebounds) in a game for the fifth time in school history and first time since Jan. 30, 1982.
* - San Diego State improves to 15-6 on the season, its best 21-game record in the last 23 seasons. The 1984-85 was one game better at 16-5.
* - The Aztecs also improve to 5-2 in the Mountain West Conference. Only the 2005-06 NCAA Tournament had a better Mountain West record at the seven-game mark with a 6-1 start.
* - SDSU is 5-2 in league play for the first time since that same 1984-85 team. The `84-85 team sprinted out to a 7-2 WAC start before suffering conference loss No. 3.
* - At 15-6, San Diego State is one game ahead with last year's pace when it advanced to the postseason NIT and even with the 2005-06 NCAA Tournament squad.
* - The win keeps intact SDSU's streak at 91 games without suffering three straight defeats. The last time the Aztecs dropped three in a row was the final three games of the 2004-05 campaign.
* - SDSU won for the third straight time at Moby Arena for the first time in school history.
* - The victory is just the Aztecs' sixth at Moby Arena and improves their record to 6-22 at the facility. Four of the six wins have come in the last seven seasons.
* - San Diego State outrebounded Colorado State, 46-26. The plus-20 margin is the second-largest for SDSU in an MWC game. The Aztecs were plus-21 at TCU last season.
* - SDSU's 46 rebounds are a season-high, one more than the 45 it collected at New Mexico.
* - San Diego State improves to 12-2 when holding a rebounding edge and has won the category in 11 of the last 15 games after tying both Brigham Young and UNLV its last two times out.
* - Of the Aztecs' 83 total points, 46 came inside the painted area. In fact, SDSU outscored the Rams, 46-14, in the paint.
* - After trailing at halftime, 37-35, and rallying to win, San Diego State improves to 5-3 this season when facing a deficit at the half.
