-The Records: After playing three of its first four conference games on the road, the Aztec women's basketball team returns to San Diego to play host to Brigham Young Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Cox Arena. SDSU, which is 9-7 overall on the year, is coming off a two-game road trip against the conference's top two teams in Utah and Wyoming. The Aztecs fell to the Utes 74-62, before dropping a 65-49 decision to the Cowgirls on Saturday. The Cougars, meanwhile, are 8-7 on the year, including a 2-1 mark in conference action with victories over Colorado State and UNLV, but a 80-49 loss to Utah in their most recent outing.
-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the third year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She led the Aztecs for eight seasons from 1989 to 1997, before returning in 2005. She has an overall head coaching record of 256-195 in 15 seasons, while she is 175-130 in her 10 previous campaigns at SDSU.
-BYU Head Coach Jeff Judkins: Judkins is in his sixth season at BYU. His school and overall career record is 134-69.
