* - San Diego State matches its best start to a Division I season at 14-4, tying the 1984-85 team.
* - At 14-4, the Aztecs are off to its best start in 41 seasons. The 1966-67 squad opened that season with a 15-3 mark after 18 games.
* - SDSU improves to 4-0 in Mountain West Conference play for the first time as an MWC school (since 1999-00).

* - SDSU allowed just 13 first half points. Earlier this season, Kansas State gave up a NCAA record-low four points in the second half vs. Savannah State (Jan. 7, 2008), while Florida Gulf College surrendered six to Penn (Dec. 29, 2007) in the first half, and George Washington allowed seven against St. Louis (Jan. 10, 2008). Prior to the season, the fewest allowed in a half was seven when Ohio led Central Michigan, 35-7, on Jan. 14, 2006.
* - Kansas State gave up an NCAA record-low one field goal against Savannah State earlier this season. Tonight the Aztecs held Wyoming to three field goals in the first half.
* - SDSU's 22-point first half lead is its largest since leading by 25 against UC Riverside on Nov. 21, 2006.
* - The Aztecs opened the game on a 19 -0 run marking the second consecutive half in which SDSU started a half by scoring at least 14 unanswered points. San Diego State opened the second half of the Utah game by scoring 14 consecutive points before allowing the Utes to score.
