-The Records: The Aztec women's basketball team puts its three-game win streak on the line when it plays host to city-rival USD on Wednesday at Cox Arena at 7 p.m. San Diego State, which is unbeaten at home, defeated Cal State Fullerton 76-45 in front of a record crowd Sunday afternoon to improve to 6-1 overall, matching its best start since the 1992-93 campaign. The Aztecs face a Torero squad which is 4-3 in 2007, but has won each of the last five meetings between the two schools.

-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the third year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She led the Aztecs for eight seasons from 1989 to 1997, before returning in 2005. She has an overall head coaching record of 253-189 in 15 seasons, while she is 172-124 in her 10 previous campaigns at SDSU.

-USD Head Coach Cindy Fisher: Fisher is in her third year at USD and her eighth season overall. Her USD record is 34-31, while her overall mark is 93-112. She is 9-1 all-time versus the Aztecs.

-San Diego Series History: San Diego State dominated the early series, winning 24 of the first 25 all-time meetings. USD, however, has claimed each of the last five contests, with the series now standing at 24-6 in favor of the Aztecs (Last: San Diego def. San Diego State, 76-46, at Jenny Craig Pavilion on Nov. 19, 2006).
