-Live Audio/Video/Stats: All four games of the San Diego Surf `N Slam will feature live stats and live video streaming via SDSU's official website www.goaztecs.com. A live audio call will also be available for both Aztec games this week.

-The Records: Seven days after its first home loss of the season to the nation's No. 1 team, San Diego State (8-2) returns to action to play host to the four-school San Diego Surf `N Slam, Dec. 28 and 30, at Cox Arena. The tournament, sponsored by Basketball Travelers, Inc., is in its third year and includes four teams from four different states and conferences. The Aztecs will be joined by Quinnipiac (8-1), Seton Hall (7-2) and Western Michigan (3-8), which are all making their Surf `N Slam debuts. On Friday, SDSU takes on Quinnipiac at 2 p.m., followed by the Seton Hall-Western Michigan game at 4 p.m. The winners will meet in the championship game on Dec. 30 at 4 p.m., which comes after the consolation game at 2 p.m.

-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the third year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She led the Aztecs for eight seasons from 1989 to 1997, before returning in 2005. She has an overall head coaching record of 255-190 in 15 seasons, while she is 174-125 in her 10 previous campaigns at SDSU.

-Quinnipiac Head Coach Tricia Fabbri: Fabbri is in her 13th season at Quinnipiac. She has a school and career record of 160-180.

-Seton Hall Head Coach Phyllis Mangina: Mangina is in her 23rd season with the Pirates. She boasts a school and career mark of 320-320.

-Western Michigan Head Coach Ron Stewart: Stewart is in his 11th year at the helm of Western Michigan and has a career and school record of 149-158.

-Series History: San Diego State has never previously faced Quinnipiac or Western Michigan. The Aztecs are 0-1 all-time against Seton Hall, as the Pirates won the lone meeting, 71-61, in South Orange, N.J., on Dec. 28, 1991.
