-The Records: The San Diego State women's basketball team will put its perfect record on the line when it heads to Los Angeles for the four-team Loyola Marymount Ayres Hotel Thanksgiving Tournament. The Aztecs will play Indiana State on Friday at 2 p.m. and then will face either Jackson State or host LMU on Saturday at 2 or 4 p.m. SDSU is one of two unbeaten teams in the field, joining 2-0 Indiana State, while Jackson State is 1-1 and LMU is 2-2 in 2007-08. The Aztecs own a combined 6-2 all-time record versus the three schools.
-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the third year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She led the Aztecs for eight seasons from 1989 to 1997, before returning in 2005. She has an overall head coaching record of 250-188 in 15 seasons, while she is 169-123 in her 10 previous campaigns at SDSU.
-Indiana State Head Coach Jim Wiedie: Wiedie is in his eighth season as head coach of the Sycamores and boasts a school and overall record of 129-77.
-Jackson State Head Coach Denise Taylor: Taylor is in her seventh campaign at Jackson State, posting a 110-72 mark. She is 152-91 in 11 seasons overall.
-LMU Head Coach Julie Wilhoit: Wilhoit is in her 13th year at LMU and has a 169-179 mark with the Lions. Her overall record is 289-249 in 20 seasons.
-Series History: San Diego State owns a 1-0 all-time record against both Indiana State and Jackson State, with both match ups coming in San Diego. The Aztecs are 4-2 versus Loyola Marymount, but the Lions have claimed the last two in the series in 1999 and 2000.
