SAN DIEGO - San Diego State senior forward Jackie Ragudos has been named to the Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week after scoring two goals and helping the Aztecs to a pair of victories last week. This is the second honor in as many days for Ragudos who earned Mountain West Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors on Monday.

The San Diego, native was instrumental in the Aztecs' wins over No. 19 BYU, 2-0, on Thursday and Sunday's victory over Wyoming. The two wins moved the Aztecs into second place in the conference standings with a 3-1-0 MWC record and gave SDSU its most wins to start league play since 2002.

Ragudos recorded her team-leading sixth and seventh goals, including her fourth game-winner, in the two-game span. Ragudos scored the second goal in a 2-0 win over the Cougars in a nationally televised game and added the lone tally in San Diego State's 1-0 triumph over the Cowgirls.

After not recording a point last season, Ragudos leads the 2007 Aztecs in points (17), goals (seven), assists (three), shots (23), shots on goal (14) and game-winning goals (four).

SDSU (8-6-2), which has already surpassed its win total of six from last season, continues MWC play when it travels to Provo, Utah, on Thursday to play New Mexico at BYU's South Stadium. The game was originally scheduled to be played at the SDSU Sports Deck, but was moved due to the wildfires throughout San Diego County. Kickoff is slated to begin at 7 p.m. MT.
