SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State crew team has cancelled its first weekend of its fall season due to the recent wildfires and poor air quality in the San Diego area, head coach Jennifer Zebroski announced. The Aztecs were originally scheduled to travel to Sacramento on Saturday for the prestigious Head of American and then participate in the San Diego Row for the Cure on Sunday.

In addition, the Mountain West Conference meet has been moved from Mission Bay to Albuquerque, N.M., and the women's soccer game against New Mexico has been moved to Provo, Utah.
SDSU will travel to Newport Harbor to compete in the Newport Autumn Rowing Festival on Nov. 4.
