San Diego State senior Anna Booth (Coffs Harbour, Australia) put together the best performance of her Aztec career Tuesday, tying for eighth place to help the women's golf team finish 10th out of 20 schools at the University of Colorado's Heather Farr Memorial Invitational in Broomfield, Colo. The Aztecs posted a two-day total of 52-over 916 at the par-72, 6,211-yard Omni Interlocken Golf Club.

Booth overcame a triple bogey on the par-4 ninth hole, rallying with birdies on the sixth, 10th and 17th holes to end up with a final round 74. Her 54-hole score of 4-over 220 tied for 10th in school history and is the best performance by an Aztec since March 2006. Booth beat her previous career-low by seven strokes, which she set back in 2005 on the Aztecs' home course.

The Australian was one of three Aztecs to finish in the top 50 on the leaderboard. She was joined by junior Maki Kamimura (West Covina, Calif.), who tied for 37th with a 230, and senior Kim Carmody (Palatine, Ill.), who jumped four slots into a tie for 49th at 17-over 233.

Junior Jackie Kazarian's (Dana Point, Calif.) carded a disappointing 84 in the final round to drop from 47th to 65th place at 22-over 238, while freshman Samantha Roberts (Carlsbad, Calif.) was 86th with a 29-over 245 in her second career tournament.

Host Colorado won the event by four strokes over Oklahoma with a 21-over 885, including a final round 297. Portland State's Kayla Morinaga overcame a two-stroke deficit to claim medalist honors as the only golfer to finish under par at 2-under 214.
