Tryout Information
Thank you for your interest in trying out for our 2007-2008 SDSU Softball squad. We are always looking for athletic hard-working student-athletes who will make our team better.
Our first meeting is going to be August 31 at 2 p.m. in the Aztec Athletic Center room 3030. You must be in attendance for this meeting in order to be considered as a tryout.
Before that date, please be sure to arrange your fall class schedule to fit our fall practice times:
Mon, Wed, Fri
7 a.m. - Weights and Conditioning
1 p.m. - Pitchers and Catchers
2-5 p.m. - Team Practice (plan to arrive 15 minute early if you are not a P or C)
Tues, Thurs
7-11 a.m. - Team Practice (don't schedule class before noon)
Your tryout begins September 10 with our skill workouts. Your time commitment will be around eight hours on these weeks. Our full fall practices will begin October 22 and run through November 17. During this time, your commitment will be around 20 hours a week.
We are looking for driven hard-working people only to join our quest.
