SAN DIEGO - 2007-08 SAN DIEGO STATE SUMMER PROSPECTUS
The 2007-08 San Diego State men's basketball team returns three starters for ninth-year head coach Steve Fisher. The national champion coach has taken 91 percent of his teams to postseason play when returning three starters. This year, the Aztecs will look to advance to the postseason for a third consecutive year for the first time since 1940-42.

Program Accomplishments
* 46-20 record since the beginning of the 2005-06 season (33rd most victories nationally)
* Consecutive seasons with 22 or more victories
* Winners of 25 of its last 28 home games
* Won its last two games against nationally-ranked opponents
* Currently have gone 14 consecutive games without a two-game losing streak
* Currently have gone 67 consecutive games without a three-game losing streak
2007-08 Preseason Notes
* San Diego State returns three starters, seven players who started at least one game a year ago, five players who have started at least 18 games in their career.
* The Aztecs return seven of their top nine scorers off last season's team.
* Return players that accounted for 62 percent of all starts in 2006-07. Returning players have started 185 career games.
* All 10 players on the roster with previous Division I experience have played on teams that have won at least 20 games and advanced to postseason play.
* Steve Fisher has coached a team that returned at least three starters off a team he coached 11 times in his career. Those 11 squads have gone to postseason play 10 times, including seven trips to the NCAA Tournament, and have averaged 21.7 wins.
