Carmel HS) drew a bases loaded walk and sophomore Kasey Mytinger (San Diego/West Hills HS) followed with an RBI single to left field.

The Mustangs scored two late runs in the seventh on a two-run homer by Sarah Iwata.

Sophomore Melissa Owens (San Diego/Christian HS) went 2-for-3 to lead SDSU, which had nine hits in the game, and seven others added one hit apiece.
