SAN DIEGO - As a part of an ongoing relationship between the San Diego State Athletic Department and the local armed forces, the Aztec football program played host to a group of 15 wounded Marines for the Tony Gwynn 2007 Classic on March 11 at PETCO Park.
The Marines are being treated at the Naval Medical Center San Diego in nearby Balboa Park. The two sides watched the SDSU baseball team defeat Michigan, 4-1.
