-The Records: Five days removed from its biggest victory of the season, the San Diego State women's basketball team continues its brief homestand with another conference game Thursday versus visiting UNLV at 7 p.m. The Aztecs recorded their first win over Utah in 10 years last Saturday, knocking off the league co-leader 71-66 in a game that saw SDSU lead most of the way. San Diego State improved to an impressive 9-3 at home this season, including a 3-1 mark in league action en route to its first 10-win campaign since 2001-02. The Lady Rebels, meanwhile, has gone 3-4 since defeating the Aztecs in Las Vegas in early January and are 10-11 overall and 4-5 in conference play.
-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the second year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She led the Aztecs for eight seasons from 1989 to 1997, before returning in 2005. She has an overall head coaching record of 245-182 in 15 seasons, while she is 164-117in 10 campaigns at SDSU.
-UNLV Head Coach Regina Miller: Miller is in her ninth season at UNLV, boasting a record of 163-99. Her 14-year career head coaching record is 223-199.
-UNLV Series History: UNLV leads the overall series (21-12), but SDSU holds a slight 8-7 edge in games played in San Diego (Last: UNLV def. SDSU, 64-48, on Feb. 15, 2006 in San Diego).
