SAN DIEGO - The site for Thursday's San Diego State water polo game against Hartwick College, which was originally scheduled to be played at the Aztec Aquaplex, will now be contested at the Ray and Joan Kroc Salvation Army Community Center, located at 6845 University Avenue in San Diego. Game time for SDSU's season opener is set for 3 p.m. PST, and admission is free of charge.
The Aztecs, ranked sixth in the 2007 Collegiate Water Polo Association national preseason poll, return 10 letterwinners and five starters from a squad that finished the 2006 season with a No. 7 national ranking after posting a 22-12 overall record and a 5-7 mark in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.
Directions to Kroc Community Center from SDSU:
Take College Avenue south to University Avenue
Turn left on University Avenue
Turn right on Salvation Driveway into parking lot
Pool is located in the center of the complex at 6845 University Avenue
