SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State baseball team, under fifth-year head coach Tony Gwynn, will hold its annual Alumni Weekend beginning with a golf tournament on Friday, January 26.
On Saturday (Jan. 27), the 2007 San Diego State squad will take on a team of recent grads in the annual alumni game at noon at Tony Gwynn Stadium. Following the game, there will be a barbecue for current and past Aztecs. Former SDSU players desiring to participate in the game should contact the Aztec Baseball Office at 619-594-6889 to confirm their attendance.
The fundraising golf tournament on Friday will be held at the Carlton Oaks Country Club in Santee with proceeds going to support the Aztec baseball program.
The day's schedule calls for check-in beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a shotgun start commencing at noon. The cost is $100 for SDSU alumni and $150 for all others. The entry fee includes golf, lunch, dinner, prizes and more. An entry form for the golf event can be obtained by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page
