-The Records: The San Diego State women's basketball kicks off its 2006-07 campaign at home for the first time since 2003, when the Aztecs play host to the Nevada Wolf Pack Tuesday at Cox Arena. SDSU split its pair of exhibtion contests for the seventh time in the last eight seasons, defeating the Arizona Venom (100-57), before falling on a last-second shot Saturday afternoon to Love and Basketball (61-59).

The visiting Wolf Pack, meanwhile, already has one game and one victory under their belt, having defeated future San Diego State opponent, Cal Poly, 76-62, last Saturday in Reno. Nevada won its lone exhibition contest, 68-53, over Humboldt State on Nov. 5.

-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the second year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She led the Aztecs for eight seasons from 1989 to 1997, before returning in 2005. She has an overall head coaching record of 235-172 in 14 seasons, while she is 154-107 in her nine previous campaigns at SDSU.

-Nevada Head Coach Kim Gervasoni: Gervasoni is in her fourth year as head coach of the Wolf Pack, boasting a school and career record of 25-65. She is 1-1 all-time against the Aztecs.

-Nevada Series History: After a two-year break, SDSU and Nevada renews their rivalry. The Aztecs lead the all-time series 2-1, and are 2-0 in games played in San Diego (Last: Nevada def. SDSU, 74-55, on December 7, 2004, in Reno, Nev.).
