Tally Hall Named to College Soccer News National Team of the Week

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - San Diego State men's soccer goalkeeper Tally Hall (Gig Harbor, Wash./Gig Harbor HS) has been named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week for the week of Sept. 25-Oct. 1. Hall, who was honored as the Pac-10 Player of the Week on Tuesday, led SDSU (7-3-1, 3-1-0 Pac-10) to a pair of Pac-10 Conference wins over the weekend.

On Sunday, Hall made six saves for his fourth shutout of the season in the Aztecs' 1-0 upset over No. 4 Washington. Hall, a 2005 All-American, recorded diving stops on two occasions to help SDSU improve to 15-1-3 in its last 19 home games.

Hall, a senior, registered two saves in SDSU's 2-1 victory over Oregon State on Friday.

A 2005 first-team all-Pac-10 selection, Hall is 7-2-1 this season with a 0.97 goals against average. He has four shutouts and a 79.6 save percentage. Over the last two seasons, Hall is 16-6-7 with a 0.65 goals against average.

The first-place Aztecs, ranked No. 25 in the latest Soccer America poll and No. 26 by College Soccer News play host to No. 11 UCLA at SDSU Sports Deck at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.
