* - San Diego State shot 60.5 percent from the field, its highest percentage since shooting 60.9 percent vs. Southern Mississippi in Fairbanks, Alaska, on Nov. 19, 2005.

* - The Aztecs field goal percentage of 60.5 is tied for the third-best in school MWC history.

* - SDSU shot over 50 percent from the field and has done so in seven of its last eight games.

* - The Aztec starting frontcourt combined to shoot 15-for-21 from the field, and scored a total of 48 points.

* - BALANCED SCORING - Five Aztecs (Abukar, Heath, Sharper, Slaughter and Spain) scored in double-figures for the game. Tonight marked the fourth time this season that five players scored at least 10 points for the game.

* - Guard John Sharper has made multiple three-point baskets in 15 of his last 17 games and is now one shy of tying Jason Richey (136) for third all-time at SDSU for career three-point field goals... Sharper tied his career high (4) for three-point field goals in a game for the second straight contest. In his last two games he is 8-for-15 from behind the arc.

* - Marcus Slaughter reached double-figures in scoring for the sixth consecutive game.

* - Slaughter attempted at least 10 free throws for the sixth time this season.

* - Brandon Heath reached double-figures in scoring for the 11th straight game and the 65th time in his Aztec career.

* - Heath connected on multiple three-point baskets for the eighth time in his last nine ballgames.

* - Heath tied his season high for rebounds in a game with six. This is the third time this year that the junior guard has pulled down six boards.

* - Mohamed Abukar recorded his sixth game with 10 or more points as a member of the Aztecs.

* - Kyle Spain scored in double-figures for the 10th time this season. As a result, the Aztecs improve to 9-1 when he scores at least 10 points.

* - Spain tied his career high by making a trio of three-point baskets.
