SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - The San Diego State women's soccer team fell to Cal Poly, 3-0, in San Luis Obispo, Calif., on Sunday. With the loss, the Aztecs drop to 4-5 while the Mustangs improve to 4-4.

SDSU was outshot, 14-4, in the match for only the second time this season. Each team had one corner kick.

Sophomore Erika Sutton had two shots for the Aztecs, who started eight underclassmen for the eighth time this year. Juniors Jessica Girdner and Ashley Young had the other shot attempts for SDSU.

Junior goalkeeper Cat Burson made four saves in net for the Aztecs.

Kelsey Carroll, Kaleena Andruss and Ashley Vallis each had goals for Cal Poly.

SDSU travels to Pepperdine for a match at 3 p.m. Friday.
