SAN DIEGO - San Diego State's second football scrimmage of the preseason, Aztec Family Day presented by The San Diego Union-Tribune, will take place Saturday, Aug. 19, at Qualcomm Stadium. Family Day will feature its traditional activities, including interactive games with Aztec student-athletes, the Aztec flea market and will include a chance for fans to select seats for season tickets.

Family Day, including parking, is free to the public, although SDSU will be accepting donations of stuffed animals that will be presented to Children's Hospital. The stadium will open at 1 p.m. at Gate E, where fans will be greeted by Tailgate Town, which will feature the Aztec flea market and games. At the flea market, surplus apparel, including gear from the football and basketball squads, will be available for purchase. Season ticket holders can pick up their stadium blanket inside Tailgate Town as well.

The scrimmage is scheduled to commence at 2 p.m. and will last approximately two hours. An autograph session with SDSU football players will start shortly after the conclusion of the scrimmage. Following the autograph session, a sit-down dinner on the field is set for 6 p.m.

The select-a-seat portion of Family Day, however, begins at noon for those interested in purchasing season tickets. Fans are encouraged to stop by the Aztec ticket office, Window E, for more information.

The aforementioned dinner is $50 per person, $500 for a table of eight plus sponsorship of two student-athletes or $125 for dinner for two plus sponsorship of one student-athlete. Check-in/registration begins at 5 p.m. with the dinner and program to follow at 6 p.m.
