SAN DIEGO - San Diego State (9-5; 3-2 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation) concludes its spring break with a trip to Ann Arbor for the Michigan Invitational. During the two-day tournament, the Aztecs will face Cal Baptist (1:30 p.m. EST) and Indiana (6:30 p.m. EST) on Saturday, March 18 and will finish the invite against Michigan (9:30 a.m. EST) and Michigan State (2:30 p.m. EST) on Sunday.
The Aztecs ended last week with a 1-1 record against MPSF competition thanks to a win over 12th-ranked Long Beach State, 7-3, at The Salvation Army Kroc Center. The following day, the Aztecs made the trip to No. 3 UCLA, where the Bruins defeated SDSU, 12-3, at Sunset Canyon Rec Center.
This week marks the first of two consecutive weekends where San Diego State will compete in a tournament with the second coming on March 24-25, at the Loyola Marymount Invite in Los Angeles.
