SAN DIEGO - San Diego State's softball game against Virginia, scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, has been cancelled. There will be no makeup date.
The Aztecs (14-5), who are receiving votes in the latest ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate and USA Today/NFCA national polls, will travel to the nation's 50th state to compete in the Hawai'i Tournament next weekend.
SDSU's first game will be against Oklahoma State at 3 p.m. HT Thursday. The Aztecs defeated the Cowgirls, 3-1, at the Campbell-Cartier Classic on Feb. 11.
