San Diego State Head Coach Steve Fisher

On the overall game:
"It's so rewarding for all of us to see the atmosphere we have tonight and to remember how it was before the group (Heath, Slaughter, Davis) got here. To go through turmoil and tough times, it makes the reward of cutting the nets down all the more enjoyable."

"This is a wonderful program that we can all be proud of."

"It feels good for everybody including the students. It's a wonderful victory for a team that deserves it from start to finish."

SDSU Junior Guard Brandon Heath

On the win:
"This was big. This win isn't just for us, but for all the fans; this is for them too. They helped us get this great victory."

On what the team needs to do next:
"We have to focus on the conference tournament now. As long as keep winning, everything else will take care of itself."

On Head Coach Steve Fisher:
"Fisher is like a second father to me. I've loving every bit of this and our relationship. I love that guy."

On the team:
"Our team motto was to be selfless, not selfish and we played like that tonight."

SDSU Junior Forward Mohamed Abukar

On the game:
"We knew what we had to do tonight, this game was huge for us. We were hyped up for this game, we knew we had to take it to them and we did."

On the team:
"We're still a very hungry team. We're hungry for this tournament."

SDSU Senior Guard John Sharper

On the game:
"This feels great, I've never experienced anything like this before. We've worked hard everyday and played hard every game. We have to keep going forward and hopefully do some damage in the tournament."

"I never thought it would be anything like this in my wildest dreams. We're playing well right now but we've got to keep it going. We gotta keep working hard, but it feels so good right now."

SDSU Senior Forward Trimaine Davis

On the team:
"I came to a place where I wanted to win championships and Coach Fisher made this a reality. Actions speak louder than words and we make sure we do the talking after the game. We're a team of action."

On the win:
"Everybody deserves this win. We wanted to give everybody something to celebrate for. This win isn't just for us, it's for the city of San Diego. I've been here long enough, through the ups and the downs, so this means the world to me."

Wyoming Head Coach Steve McClain

On the game:
"(San Diego State) took control with about 12 minutes left to go (in the first half) when it was 15-15. We came down and took a couple of open shots and didn't make them. In the first eight minutes we kind of made them guard and made them do what we wanted to do. Then we took a couple of quick shots and gave up a couple of layups off of them because when you take quick shots, nothing good happens. Then we came down and had a couple of turnovers and you go from a tied game to an eight-point game. They just smelled blood and you know they are a good basketball team, just look at the stats, they don't lie. (They had) 23 points off of turnover and we got beat by 19."

On Mohamed Abukar:
"What (Abukar) has meant to them is unbelieveable because he just won't miss. They throw it to him and he doesn't miss. As one assistant coach said before the game, they can put five guys on the floor that can shoot it."
