-The Records: The San Diego State women's basketball team begins Mountain West Conference play on the road for the third time in the league's seven-year history, as the Aztecs head to Fort Collins, Colo., for a meeting with Colorado State Thursday evening at Moby Arena. SDSU will be nearly a week removed from earning its third victory of the 2005-06 campaign, defeating UC Davis last Friday at home in the San Diego Surf `N Slam tournament. The Rams are currently 6-5 on the year, having split their last four outings.

-San Diego State Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the first year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She coached the Aztecs from 1989 to 1997 and has a school record of 154-90 in nine seasons. Her 14-year head coaching record stands at 235-155.

-Colorado State Head Coach Jen Warden: Warden is in her first season at Colorado State. She boasts a school record of 6-5 overall and a four-year career head coaching record of 35-64.
