-The Records: The San Diego State women's basketball team (0-4) plays its final road non-conference game of the 2005-06 campaign, when it heads up to Malibu, Calif., for a 5 p.m. contest with the Pepperdine Waves. The Aztecs are winless so far this season, with four of their first five games being played away from home.

SDSU will face a member of the West Coast Conference for the second time this year on Saturday, when it renews its rivalry with Pepperdine for the first time since 1996. The Waves have already played three more games than the Aztecs, boasting a 1-6 record, including a loss to No. 25 UCLA on Thursday evening in Westwood, Calif.

-SDSU Head Coach Beth Burns: Burns (Ohio Wesleyan, 1979) is in the first year of her second stint as head coach at San Diego State. She coached the Aztecs from 1989 to 1997 and has a school record of 151-87 in nine seasons. Her 14-year head coaching record stands at 232-152.

-Pepperdine Head Coach Julie Rousseau: Rosseau is in her second year with the Waves. She boasts a school and career record of 13-23.

-Pepperdine Series History: SDSU leads the series, 11-5 and is 5-3 in games played at Pepperdine (Last: SDSU def. Pepperdine, 66-51, on Dec. 7, 1996).
